CDL Driver - End Dump, Side Dump, Transport

Sage Demolition is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Truck Driver to join our crew. You'll play a key role in our demolition operations — hauling debris and materials efficiently while keeping our job sites running on schedule. Every day starts and ends at our shop in Layton, Utah.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-side end dump and side dumps safely and efficiently
• Safely transport and dump demolition debris, concrete, asphalt, trees, metal, etc to designated sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record (MVR review required)
• Experience with end dumps and/or side dumps
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
• Valid DOT Medical certificate
• Strong sense of punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work in outdoor, active construction/demolition environments

Preferred

• Experience transporting heavy equipment (lowboy)
• Familiarity with demolition or construction job site operations
• Experience with oversized/overweight load permits
• Basic mechanic abilities
• Proficient in Spanish
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission trucks
