Ramp Construction Company, Inc., an established commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a dependable and hardworking CDL Driver / Laborer to join our team.

This position combines CDL driving with hands-on construction and roofing support. The CDL Driver/Laborer will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to commercial roofing projects while also assisting crews with general labor and job-site operations.

This is not a driving-only position. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working both behind the wheel and alongside our crews in the field.

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company CDL trucks and commercial vehicles
• Transport roofing materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to and from job sites
• Load and unload trucks and materials
• Deliver materials and equipment to commercial roofing projects
• Assist roofing crews with general labor and job-site duties when not driving
• Help move, stage, and organize roofing materials and equipment
• Assist with job-site setup and cleanup
• Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment
• Secure loads properly and ensure materials are transported safely
• Maintain required driver logs and documentation
• Follow all DOT, company, and job-site safety requirements
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Travel to job sites throughout Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas as needed

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required
• Acceptable driving record
• Experience operating commercial trucks and construction equipment preferred
• Construction or commercial roofing experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving construction materials
• Comfortable working outdoors and on active construction sites
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Willingness to assist wherever needed to keep projects moving efficiently

Compensation

$50.00 per hour
