CDL Driver Part Time or Full Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled truck driver for hauling Shipping Containers. Responsible for towing a 48' ft. Gooseneck trailer with newer Dually Ford F450 trucks. Also would be a backup driver for a 32' ft. hitch mount tilt bed trailer with crew cab pickup truck. Responsible for loading 40' and 20' Shipping Containers from our yard and delivering to customers. Must be detail orientated and able to adapt to changing situations, as there will be some challenging delivery sites. Most delivery's are regional in the state of Wisconsin with some runs to Chicago. Home every night, with the possibility of overnight stays on some occasions.

Duties:

• Safely operate our trucks towing a 48' gooseneck trailer or a 32' hitch mounted trailer carrying 40' or 20' shipping containers.
• Load and unload cargo containers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate driving logs

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with appropriate endorsements

• Fed Med Card

• Proven experience in truck driving or related field

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance

• Excellent driving record

• Strong communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience as a delivery driver
• Familiarity with basic truck maintenance
