Responsibilities Transportation Duties

Safely transport students to and from medical appointments, educational activities, work-based learning sites, and other approved off-center locations.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Inspect tires, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, fluids, fuel levels, and safety equipment to ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready.

Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate repairs as needed.

Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and Department of Transportation regulations.

Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, fuel usage, passenger counts, and trip reports.

Provide courteous, professional, and safe transportation services to students and staff.

Security Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, and campus facilities.

Patrol assigned areas of campus.

Perform routine building security and safety inspections.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and security concerns.

Monitor campus activity and report suspicious or unsafe conditions.

Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation when appropriate.

Complete Incident Reports And Other Required Documentation. Work collaboratively with Residential Services, Student Services, Wellness, and Security staff to support student success.

Qualifications: Schedule

11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.

Sunday through Thursday

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement required.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Ability to pass a background check.
