Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances while adhering to all safety regulations. Driver will be required to work with a crew doing industrial service work as needed. This could include pressure washing, running hose, CSE

Duties:
· Checks vehicle before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

· Performs vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

· Follows appropriate safety procedures (e.g., DOT, OSHA, EPA, etc.) when transporting waste materials and general freight.

· Maintains logs of working hours in accordance with U.S. DOT Hours of Service regulation

· Secures cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, and/or covers.

· Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to vehicles in accordance with company policy.

· Maintains truck interior and safety of equipment and personal protective equipment.

· Verifies manifest information including load count, quantity, shipping name, etc.

· Communicates need for service or repair of power unit or equipment operated.

Job Functions

· Establishes and maintains customer focused working relationship with all company customers (internal and external).

· Obtains receipts or signatures when loads are delivered.

· Checks all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.

· Reads shipping paperwork (i.e., bills of lading and manifests) to determine assignment details.

· Maintains a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no at-fault accidents for the past three years and no major convictions.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

· One year of current over-the-road experience.

· A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B

· Must have a compliant history with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

· Must qualify for a DOT medical card.

· Must be compliant with DOT substance abuse testing.

· Must be able to work 14 hour shifts on a regular basis.

· Must have the ability to travel overnight.

· Must be able to work additional hours as required including weekends.

· Must be able to use personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator and chemical protective equipment.

· Must have functional capacity to meet physical demands required to successfully and safely perform the essential functions of the job.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
