CDL Operator - Transportation Equipment Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Operator - Transportation Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and loading a variety of heavy-duty construction equipment onto your truck and delivering the equipment to job sites and our shop. Safety, precision, and teamwork are at the core of everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including telehandlers, skidloaders, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, wheel loaders to safely load equipment on trailers.
• Safely operate a tractor/trailer in town and throughout the state.
• Safely secure equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks such as dump trucks and front loader trucks.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery in a construction or civil infrastructure setting.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in outdoor work environments.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to commercial trucking and transportation safety standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to project success.

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
