CDL triaxle driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Triaxle Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a triaxle truck, delivering stone and asphalt efficiently across designated routes, and ensuring timely load and unload operations.

Duties

• Operate a CDL licensed triaxle truck across diverse routes, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement to maintain optimal safety standards
• Plan efficient delivery routes to meet schedule commitments while minimizing delays and fuel consumption
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers

Experience

• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty trucks with in a commercial driving environment
• Prior delivery driver experience handling freight across multiple trailer types such as refrigerated loads, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations, including DOT compliance and vehicle maintenance standards
• Strong attention to detail for completing accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
