What they need
- Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, bread, and baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Organize daily mise en place and production schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
- Minimize food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Supervise, train, and support Commis Pastry and junior kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in developing seasonal menus and new dessert creations.
- Ensure all pastry equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
- Work efficiently during service while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
