Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms.
• Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, soldering of small components, and other hardware fixes using hand tools.
• Troubleshoot operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve software glitches or malfunctions.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to analyze device circuitry and identify faults accurately.
• Conduct software troubleshooting to restore device functionality or update operating systems.
• Provide technical support to customers both in-store and via field service calls, explaining repair processes clearly.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Assist with retail sales by advising customers on device features, accessories, and maintenance best practices.

Experience

• Prior experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows is essential for diagnosing issues effectively.
• Hands-on experience with soldering techniques and using hand tools for delicate repairs is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting software conflicts enhances your effectiveness.
• Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware or software problems quickly.
• Experience providing technical support in a retail or field service setting demonstrates excellent customer service ability.
