Duties

• Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs on various mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops using specialized tools and schematics
• Troubleshoot software issues across operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to restore device functionality
• Conduct hardware maintenance tasks like soldering, component replacement, and circuit board repairs to resolve complex issues
• Use hand tools and desktop computer repair techniques to replace screens, batteries, cameras, and other internal components
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for consumer electronics including printers, copiers, and other peripherals
• Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the service experience
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic steps taken for each device

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile phone repair or consumer electronics troubleshooting with a strong understanding of hardware diagnostics
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows along with knowledge of software troubleshooting methods
• Skilled in using hand tools for delicate electronic repairs including soldering equipment for electrical soldering tasks
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose hardware issues
• Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of device malfunctions quickly and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients
• Knowledge of computer hardware repair including laptops and desktop computers as well as mobile devices
• Ability to perform field service tasks in various environments while maintaining safety standards
• Technical proficiency in electronics repair techniques such as soldering, circuit analysis, and equipment maintenance

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
