Cell Phone Technician/SOLDERING

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cell Phone Technician with expertise in soldering and electronics repair to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, ensuring optimal performance for our customers. Your technical proficiency in hardware diagnostics, soldering, and operating systems will be essential to deliver exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with consumer electronics, develop your skills in field service, and contribute to customer satisfaction through expert repairs and troubleshooting. Please note: experience is necessary and higher pay scale for soldering experience with HDMI on consoles.

Duties

• Perform detailed diagnostics on mobile devices such as Android and iOS smartphones, tablets, and other consumer electronics to identify hardware and software issues.
• Conduct repairs involving soldering of circuit boards, connectors, and other electronic components using hand tools and electrical soldering techniques.
• Troubleshoot operating system problems across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and other platforms to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions.
• Replace or repair damaged hardware components including screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuitry.
• Utilize desktop computer repair skills for troubleshooting related issues with laptops or desktops that may be connected to mobile device repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic results for quality control and inventory management.

Skills

• Strong technical proficiency in mobile device repair including smartphones (Android and iOS), tablets, laptops, printers, copiers, and other consumer electronics.
• Expertise in soldering techniques for electrical repairs on circuit boards and small electronic components.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, Windows; ability to troubleshoot related issues effectively.
• Skilled in hardware diagnostics and analysis skills for identifying faults quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools used in electronic repair as well as desktop computer repair tools.
• Experience providing technical troubleshooting support for mobile devices and consumer electronics in a field service environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong communication skills to assist customers with technical support needs.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
