Cell Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on Cell Fabrication Technician to support the fabrication and development of rechargeable battery cells in an R&D laboratory environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed assembly work, working with tools and equipment, and being part of a technical team developing battery technology

What You’ll Do

• Assemble rechargeable battery cells following established procedures and work instructions
• Prepare and handle battery materials and components, including electrode handling, cutting, stacking/winding, tab attachment, electrolyte filling, and sealing
• Operate hand tools, laboratory equipment, and cell fabrication equipment
• Measure and prepare materials and perform basic inspections and quality checks
• Document process information, measurements, material usage, and fabrication results
• Identify defects, equipment issues, and process deviations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace
• Work alongside scientists and engineers to support battery cell development

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable performing detailed, repetitive hands-on work
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements
• Experience using basic hand tools and/or laboratory equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Comfortable working safely with chemicals and battery materials

Nice to Have

• Previous laboratory, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience
• Experience working with small components or precision assembly
• Battery, electrochemical device, or related technology experience
• Technical education/coursework in chemistry, materials science, manufacturing, chemical engineering, or a related field
