Cell Tower Technician/Climber

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Cell Tower Technician/Climber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cell towers and related infrastructure. Your expertise in tower climbing, RF testing, and construction safety will ensure reliable wireless communication services. A strong commitment to safety protocols and technical excellence is essential to succeed in this energetic role. This job requires extensive travel throughout the week, having most weekends off.

Our tower technicians normally make $1200/per week depending on hours worked overtime. We also pay $50/per day per diem to cover meals.

After 90 days probation, there may be an increase in pay depending on your ability to perform the job.

While traveling, we provide the transportation, and hotel stays. Your only responsibility will be buying your food on the road. That is why we give you $50/per day per diem.

Responsibilities

· Climbing and working on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing lighting equipment and performing tower maintenance under close supervision.

· Have a basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment

· Knowledge of hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.

· The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load

· Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action.

· Communicating orally and in writing

· Following instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action.

· Recognize safety hazards and perform duties in a safe manner.

· Work under close supervision

· Travel extensively throughout the US.

Qualifications

· Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.

· 0-1 years of industry experience

· Applicant/Employee weight and tools combined may not exceed 280 lbs. weight limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.

· Applicant/Employee waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.

· Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.

· Possession of a valid driver’s license. (At employer’s discretion)
