Cellar Hand and Packaging Operator

Based in Hawke’s Bay, Zeffer is one of New Zealand’s leading cider and beverage producers. From humble beginnings selling cider at the local Farmers’ Market in 2009, we have since grown significantly both nationally and internationally, driven by a domestic distribution partnership with Cassels Brewery. About the Role:

We are looking for a cellar superstar to jump in and help with all aspects of cellar work from juice work, filtering, blending, additions and more. This is a combined role with packaging; we are a small team so on packaging days we all jump in and help on the packaging line as well.

Reporting to the Head of Beverage and Operations, your role will include:

·        All aspects of cellar work (tank cleaning, pumping and blending, additions etc)

·        Packaging (helping with pack off, Keg filling etc)

·        General site tidiness

·        Local deliveries

·        The normal cellar hours are 8.00-4.30 Mon-Fri with occasional flexibility if needed.

·        A hands-on role that requires forklift driving, pumping, cleaning, tasting,

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 1 year cellar experience
• Attention to detail and organisation
• Great communication skills
• Forklift licence and skills
