Cement Operations – Leading Hand/Coordinator

Our Palmerston North team is currently seeking a Cement Operations – Leading Hand to join our team. The primary focus of this role is the safe and timely loading and debagging of cement for delivery to concrete plants throughout the lower north island. Alongside operating the forklift, you will coordinate with the logistics team to ensure there is adequate product for load out at all times. You will lead the team to ensure safe operations onsite and be involved in planning the workload accordingly. Whilst this role is a permanent role, we are looking for a candidate that is flexible and adaptable to help out other operations as required, such as concrete or aggregate manufacturing. The following skills and experience are required:

• Forklift License and WorkSafe Certification
• Class 4 and WTR driver’s licence (preferred)
• A strong focus on safe, reliable and on-time delivery to our customers.
• Computer literacy and confidence (full training provided).
• Strong communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
• Must be physically agile and healthy.
• A commitment to Health and Safety.
