We're looking for an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale digital transformation programmes across government and public sector organisations. This is an opportunity to architect citizen-centric services, drive AI adoption, modernise CRM and contact centre platforms, and deliver cloud-native solutions that improve outcomes for millions of users.

What You'll Do

✅ Lead the technical design and implementation of complex, enterprise-scale solutions

✅ Translate solution architectures into detailed technical designs, APIs, data models, security architectures, and deployment patterns

✅ Design citizen-facing digital services aligned to GDS Service Standards and accessibility requirements

✅ Drive AI-enabled transformation, including intelligent automation, virtual assistants, predictive support, and next-best-action capabilities

✅ Architect and modernise CRM and Contact Centre platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Creatio

✅ Champion cloud-native delivery across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud

✅ Provide technical leadership, mentoring and assurance to multidisciplinary delivery teams

✅ Embed security, resilience and operational excellence throughout the software development lifecycle

What We're Looking For

🔹 Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Engineer, or Lead Developer

🔹Public Sector and Central Government delivery experience

🔹 Strong cloud architecture expertise across Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud

🔹 Experience designing scalable microservices, event-driven and serverless architectures

🔹 Proficiency in one or more of Node.js, Java, Python

🔹 Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep), Docker and Kubernetes

🔹 Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce or enterprise SaaS platforms

🔹 Deep understanding of security-by-design principles and government security standards

🔹 Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes

🔹 Passion for emerging technologies, AI enablement, and digital innovation

Desirable Experience

⭐Knowledge of front-end frameworks and their integration with backend services

⭐Experience with other programming languages.

⭐ API Gateway and Service Mesh technologies

⭐ Data streaming platforms and event-driven integration patterns

⭐ Existing Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain clearance
