Central Kitchen Helper

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen operations by assisting cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining sanitation standards. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Prepare ingredients according to kitchen requirements and recipes
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and workstations
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools as needed
• Properly store food items following food safety and hygiene standards
• Dispose of kitchen waste and ensure proper segregation
• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and inventory
• Follow company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
• Support the kitchen team during peak hours as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least high school graduate or equivalent
• With or without prior kitchen experience (training will be provided)
• Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-oriented
