Central Quality STA Engineer (Exterior)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead warranty-quality issue resolution with suppliers, from containment through permanent corrective action.
• Drive Global Quality Challenges, QOS, BSAQ, GWC SP, and high-priority warranty/TIS issues to closure.
• Manage supplier reviews, follow-up actions, and escalation to STA management when needed.
• Support regional quality reporting, FQR cadence, and Regional Quality Meetings with accurate and timely documentation.
• Partner with suppliers at corporate level to leverage resources and improve warranty performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive-industry experience; OEM exposure is preferred.
• Experience in supplier quality, warranty, crisis management, manufacturing processes, and process control.
• Knowledge of quality systems, problem-solving tools, and corrective-action methodologies.
• Preferred hands-on experience in exterior commodities, assembly, and plastic injection molding.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Proficient English for collaboration with global teams.
