Position Overview

The Central Worship Coordinator ensures that every campus of The Courageous Church has the people, plans, resources, and communication needed to execute compelling, excellent, and distraction-free consistent worship experiences.

Central x Campus Resourcing

• Centrally oversee Planning Center Services, including service plan scheduling, team assignments, song files, keys, arrangements, tracks, charts, and rehearsal resources.
• Assist in song selection and execute all track creation and arrangements resourced to the campuses.
• Ensure the team can execute approved arrangements.
• Confirm that campus teams have received all necessary resources.
• Coordinate rehearsals, development nights, auditions, and team gatherings.
• Communicate weekly expectations and deadlines to Campus Worship Coordinators and Worship Leaders.
• Communicate with Production and Programming regarding service changes.

Scheduling + Volunteer Management

• Build and maintain worship schedules across all campuses.
• Oversee volunteer availability, scheduling conflicts, call times, and substitutions.
• Maintain the worship-team roster and volunteer records.
• Manage roster of contractors and scheduling based on competency and availability.
• Confirm that every campus has complete vocal and band coverage.
• Identify weekend coverage problems early and escalate them appropriately.

Talent Development

• Assist in recruitment and audition approval of new talent.
• Track new volunteer auditions, onboarding, placement, and next steps.
• Assist in ongoing development of worship team members.
• Follow up on incomplete assignments or communication gaps.

Long Range Planning + Communication

• Meet with Campus Worship Coordinators monthly and as needed.
• Prepare upcoming worship calendars and planning timelines.
• Report staffing gaps, team concerns, and operational needs to the supervising leader.
• Build holiday and special-event staffing plans.
• Oversee resourcing and scheduling of Courageous Youth events.
• Maintain the approved song library and introduce new songs through the established process.
• Track volunteer participation, reliability, and development needs.
• Organize worship-development sessions.
• Review scheduling health across campuses.
• Review budget spend and allocation.

Pay: From $12,345.00 per year
