Centre Assistant Manager/Manager

About the role

We're looking for a dynamic and committed Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our coaching team, and ensure every child and parent enjoys an exceptional experience at our gymnastics centre. If you're a strong people leader with proven business acumen, preferably experience in children's gymnastics, we want to meet you!

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor strategies to achieve centre performance targets.
• Analyse key business indicators, operational metrics and cost factors to continuously improve results.
• Ensure consistently high standards of customer service across the centre.
• Monitor sales performance, customer satisfaction, and class occupancy.
• Optimise resources, manage budgets and minimise unnecessary expenses.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork and customer care.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with the team.
• Develop staff capabilities through training, feedback and performance reviews.
• Identify potential in team members and support their career growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.

About you

• Experience coaching children aged 18 months to 12 years, with confidence leading groups of 10–20 children.
• Understands age-appropriate gymnastics curriculum and skill progression.
• Able to mentor, guide and develop trainee and junior coaches to strengthen coaching quality.
• Strong communicator with persuasive and confident presentation skills.
• Shows initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Leads by example and energises the team.
• Fast-thinking, adaptable and hands-on.
• Resilient, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
• Warm, approachable, polite and enthusiastic.
• Excellent listener with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.
