$105,000 – $120,000 + super

Our privately owned and operated long day care service on Sydney’s lower north shore, is seeking an experienced Centre Director to oversee the service. The position is full-time and for immediate start.

Applicants must possess:

• Full working rights in Australia

• Current Working with Children clearance and all other mandatory certifications

• Thorough knowledge of childcare regulations, the EYLF and the NQF

• A strong focus on compliance, risk management and quality improvement practices

• Experience in the operations of a medium-size centre (75 places)

• Experience managing and rostering 20+ educators to always meet minimum mandated staffing ratios

• Experience with the Assessment & Rating processes will be well regarded

• Ability to manage enrolments to ensure high occupancy levels are maintained year round

• Ability to oversee the in-house kitchen to ensure quality meals and efficiency of operation

• Ability to build strong relationships with parents, guardians and wider community

• Ability to run a well organised office and efficient Centre administration

• A desire to spend time ‘on the floor’ with children and educators to maintain connection

This is a salaried position where the successful applicant will be required to attend to all aspects of the service to ensure its efficient operation and to maintain high standards in service delivery.
