What they need
Physical Therapist (PT) – Part-Time / Flexible | Growth OpportunityAbout Platinum Strength PT
Platinum Strength PT is a growing physical therapy company focused on helping older adults maintain their strength, mobility, independence, and quality of life.
We partner with senior apartment communities throughout Chicago to bring physical therapy directly to residents, eliminating many of the barriers associated with traditional outpatient care.
Our model combines onsite strength, balance, and mobility classes with individualized, medically necessary physical therapy services.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Physical Therapist to join us during this exciting early stage and help shape the future of our organization.
The Opportunity
This isn't just another physical therapy position.
As one of our first clinical team members, you'll have the opportunity to help build a growing healthcare organization from the ground up.
For the right individual, we also envision a longer-term pathway into clinical leadership, program development, and operational management as we expand across additional senior communities.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with older adults, values independence and autonomy, and is excited about being part of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one outpatient physical therapy to residents within senior apartment communities.
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and functional independence.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs.
- Lead engaging group strength, balance, and mobility classes for senior residents.
- Educate patients about injury prevention, fall prevention, and maintaining independence.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other applicable payer requirements.
- Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, and community staff to coordinate appropriate care.
- Help establish clinical workflows, treatment protocols, and best practices as the organization grows.
- Potentially assume additional supervisory and leadership responsibilities over time.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent accredited PT qualification.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with older adults and helping patients maintain their independence.
- Reliable transportation to senior apartment communities throughout Chicago.
- Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy, geriatrics, home-based care, acute care, or rehabilitation preferred.
- Familiarity with Medicare Part B documentation and billing requirements is a plus.
- Comfortable engaging with groups and building relationships with senior residents.
Compensation and Growth Opportunities
- Potential performance-based compensation opportunities, subject to program development and applicable requirements.
- Direct pathway toward clinical leadership, program management, and potentially nonclinical operational responsibilities as the company scales.
- Meaningful opportunity to help shape a growing organization and its approach to senior care.
Why Join Platinum Strength PT?
We believe physical therapy should be accessible, convenient, and focused on helping older adults live independently for as long as possible.
We're building a business that brings care directly to the communities where seniors live, creating opportunities for meaningful patient relationships and measurable improvements in quality of life.
As an early team member, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the company's development, grow professionally, and potentially take on leadership responsibilities as the organization expands.
If you're an energetic, compassionate physical therapist who enjoys working with seniors and wants to be part of building something new, we'd love to hear from you.
