Smilewell Dental Lab is the in-house laboratory for Smilewell Dental, a private practice focused on implant and full-arch treatment, cosmetic dentistry and IV sedation. We work directly alongside our clinicians, so every case gets proper communication, chairside input and fast turnaround.

We're looking for a skilled, GDC-registered ceramist to raise the standard of our aesthetic and implant work.

The role

• Layering, staining and glazing on zirconia, e.max and porcelain-fused restorations
• Aesthetic finishing on full-arch implant bridges (zirconia and hybrid)
• Single-unit and multi-unit implant crowns and bridges
• Shade taking and characterisation, including chairside with patients where needed
• Working from digital designs (Exocad, Medit and 3Shape scans) and giving feedback to the design team
• Liaising directly with clinicians on case planning, adjustments and remakes
• Quality-checking work before it leaves the lab, against the prescription and the clinician's notes

What we need

• GDC registration as a Dental Technician (essential)
• Proven experience as a ceramist in a commercial or practice-based lab
• A strong portfolio of anterior aesthetic work
• Experience with full-arch or implant restorations (highly desirable)
• Comfortable with a digital workflow
• High attention to detail. Instructions followed, every time
• Clear communicator who can work directly with clinicians and patients
