Ceramist for veneers

Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Ceramist to join our laboratory team. You will transform digital scans, models, and prescriptions from dentists into high-precision, aesthetic dental prosthetics.

Key Responsibilities

Porcelain Build-Up & Layering: Apply and layer ceramic or porcelain powders onto zirconia, metal frameworks, or refractory dies to build accurate tooth anatomy and contours.

Aesthetic Characterization: Perform custom staining, glazing, and surface texturing to replicate the natural color, translucency, and light reflection of real teeth.

Fabrication: Create fixed prosthetics including anterior/posterior crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-supported restorations using materials like Zirconia and lithium disilicate (e.max).

Quality Control: Check margins, contacts, occlusion, and fit against master models before final delivery.

Prescription Review: Read and interpret dentist orders, digital designs, and patient photographs.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dentists and lab colleagues regarding case design, shade matching, and technical adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a dental ceramist focusing on high-aesthetic anterior and posterior cases.

Material Knowledge: Strong familiarity with ceramics, porcelain furnaces, Zirconia, and e.max. Technical Skills: Precision hand-eye coordination, artistic eye for color/shape, and ability to use CAD/CAM outputs or traditional lab tools.

Education:

Certificate or degree in Dental Laboratory Technology.

Licensing:

Valid local health authority licensing (preferred)

(or documents ready for processing if applicable to the region).

Or Holds a qualification that qualifies for a professional license from the Ministry of Health (MOH) / DOH / DHA.
