Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance with precision and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures, including experience working with various vehicle types, particularly in dealership environments. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly while providing exceptional service that builds trust and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Perform repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace automotive electrical components, air brake systems, and other mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex problems in diesel engines, GM vehicles (if applicable), and heavy equipment mechanics.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to manufacturer specifications during repairs; document all work performed clearly in service records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders while maintaining high-quality standards in automotive repair.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
• Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and powertrain components.
• Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission repair, suspension systems, and wheel alignment procedures.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience working with oil changes and tire services preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism in all interactions.
