About the role

EDGE Community Services is offering a 12-month Certificate III in Individual Support traineeship that combines paid employment, study and hands-on experience across both our Centre-Based Day Program and Administration team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognized qualification and explore different areas of the disability sector — all while being supported by an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside participants and support team in the Centre-Based Day Program, developing practical skills and gaining hands-on experience in disability support (3 days per week)
• Gain experience in disability administration, communication, organization, scheduling, data entry and general office tasks (2 days per week)
• Complete your Certificate III in Individual Support

What's required for the role:

• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children's Check
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screen
• Valid Victorian Driver's License
• Current or willingness to obtain Comprehensive Car Insurance

Important to note: We are advertising for two traineeship positions, one primarily based at our Head office in Werribee, and the other at our Geelong site. Travel may also be required for the role, including overnight stays if required.
