• Driving the product compliance process ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on timelines and activities
• Lead the development of comprehensive compliance strategies aligned with global regulatory frameworks including Safety, EMC, REACH, RoHS, POPs, Halogen, and regional requirements.
• Conduct regulatory gap assessments to identify compliance risks and develop mitigation plans across product lifecycles
• Ensure that safety and compliance requirements are met in aspects of a product such as labelling, packaging artwork, and instruction booklets/user guides.
• Assist in cost savings and continuous improvement projects to ensure that product safety and compliance is maintained
• Stay abreast with changes to regulatory and agency requirements, and recommend actions required to maintain compliance of active products
• Plan and execute ongoing testing and compliance documentation updates for active products
• Maintain records to support safety and compliance
• Support the investigation and problem solving for safety or compliance issues
• Lead and direct internal product development through supporting cross-functional teams on compliance-related process issues
• To partner internally and externally to support in building capabilities and know how to deliver innovative products that meet consumer/market requirements
• To liaise, manage, and influence internal stakeholders in order to obtain the appropriate resource capabilities, such as headcount or funding, necessary for executing the product development programmes EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

• Rich experience in consumer electronic industry. Experience in 1st tier company of cell phone, battery,

E-cigarette.. etc is a plus

• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence internal and external key partners & stakeholders up to senior level
• Product compliance and homologation testing requirements and associated international regulations
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and strategies, including root cause analysis, PDCA methodologies
• Planning and implementation skills & ability to manage a portfolio of projects Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
• Technical Acumen: Ability to understand complex product specifications and certification requirements
• Strategic Thinking: Capability to align certification activities with business goals
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to documentation and compliance requirements
• Problem Solving: Ability to resolve certification-related challenges efficiently
• Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate changing regulatory landscapes Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field of study (i.e., science, engineering, etc)
• Fluent English in oral, reading and writing
