Certified Accountant

We are looking for a Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado) to join our team and work alongside our tax and corporate lawyers on the accounting and tax affairs of our international clients.

You will be responsible for managing the accounting and tax compliance of Portuguese companies, including:

• Bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting;
• Preparation and submission of IRC returns and other tax filings;
• Periodic accounting and tax compliance;
• Responding to client queries and attending client meetings;
• Working closely with our tax lawyers on corporate structures and international tax matters.

About you:

• Contabilista Certificado registered in Portugal;
• Strong experience in Portuguese accounting and corporate tax;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Fast and reliable in responding to client requests;
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients and attending meetings;
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a legal team;
• Experience with international clients is a plus.
