Certified Advanced Esthetician

Overview

As a Certified Advanced Esthetician, you’ll deliver personalized skincare and spa services that help clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident. You’ll assess client needs, explain suitable aesthetic treatments, and provide services with care, clear communication, and consistent attention to sanitation. Duties

• Perform facials, chemical peels, dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments & micro-needling within your scope of practice and applicable requirements.
• Provide waxing services, including body waxing, and support other spa services
• Consult with clients, explain procedures and aftercare, and use strong customer service and client communication skills.
• Demonstrate skincare products, recommend appropriate options, and support sales and retail sales without pressuring clients.
• Maintain clean treatment areas, sanitize tools and equipment, and follow established safety and sanitation practices.

Requirements

• Hold an applicable advanced esthetician certification
• 2+ years experience working in a medical spa or dermatology practice
• Experience with various EHR systems
• Demonstrate skincare knowledge, professionalism, and clear communication skills.
• Be prepared to perform services within your training, credentials, and legal scope of practice.
• Cosmetology background and experience with spa services, aesthetic treatments, or product demos are helpful; related skills may be preferred rather than required.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
