Certified Behavior Technician

Carpe Diem Academy is a small private school providing services to children with special needs. We are seeking Certified and Registered Behavior Technicains with a passion for the ABA Field.

The CBT/RBT provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community, and school settings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors
• Collects treatment plan data
• Applies feedback and training on Registered Behavior Technician performance given by the lead BCBA or BCaBA
• Provides behavior support inside and outside of the home or classroom when applicable
• Attends a variety of training sessions and other related company meetings
• Adheres to applicable laws, rules, and regulations specified by regulatory agencies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Behavior Technician and/or Registered Behavior Technician Required
• 1+ Year of Applied Behavior Analysis Experience
• Capable of passing Level 2 Background Check
• In-service training – CPR, HIPAA, OSHA, HIV, Zero Tolerance, BBP, etc
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Central Reach experience a plus!
• PCM or Safety Care Training a plus!
