Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! Current licensure with BCCOHP is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental tools are ready for procedures
• Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, restorative treatment, surgeries and other dental treatments
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments and greeting patients as a friendly dental receptionist
• Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication during their visits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment adhering to infection control standards

Skills

• Certified Dental Assistant with valid BCCOHP licensure
• Strong dental assisting techniques, including taking X-rays and preparing materials for treatments
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
