Certified Dental Assistant

We have an immediate need for an exceptional and energetic dental assistant. Come join our team at a one-Doctor-owned general dental practice.

Full time Position offers: Vacation/Sick Time, Paid Holidays, and Retirement Plan.

Job duties entail but are not limited to:

• Greet & establish rapport with patients
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
• Provide intake procedures, including - obtain past and present medical history and record correct information in dental chart
• Assist Doctor chair-side in the performance of the treatment needed
• Set up instruments, equipment and material needed for procedures
• Break down and sterilize operatory after procedures
• Take X-rays as needed
• Assist in laboratory work
• Check inventory and assist with ordering needed supplies
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Function as a team member promoting efficiency, professionalism and team effort

Skills:

• Strong communication Skills a must,
• DANB X-ray & IC certification required
• Proven experience as a dental assistant preferred but willing to train the right candidate
• Good Computer Skills
• Attention to Detail
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Well-organized and reliable

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
