The Diabetes Dietitian Educator has experience in diabetes self-management training.

• The position will implement clinical and education programs.
• Be responsible for quality improvement.
• Research activities and be an expert resource for both patients and providers.
• The position may also be responsible for the ADA Recognized Program process and community support programs. team members in the position are required to get certified (CDCES – Diabetes) within two years of their hire date/transfer date.

Requirements:

• Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian License (RD) OR Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 3 years of Registered Dietitian experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1000 hours of professional practice experience in diabetes self-management training and has passed the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators.
  • CDCES certification
