Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the daily dietary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service delivery
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations, standards, and policies, including state and federal guidelines
• Supervise and train dietary staff to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency
• Manage dietary supplies, inventory, and budget to minimize waste and optimize resources
• Coordinate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure resident care and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including dietary logs, inventory, and budget reports

Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
• Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards
