About the Role

As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, appetizing, and well-balanced meals that meet their individual dietary needs and preferences.

You will lead, motivate, and support a team of cooks, servers, and dietary aides while maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, sanitation, and service. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Dietary Operations: Oversee daily food service activities to ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
• Create Exceptional Menus: Plan and implement nutritious, appealing menus that accommodate special diets, individual preferences, seasonal offerings, and holiday celebrations.
• Inspire Your Team: Supervise, train, and mentor dietary staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented work environment.
• Manage Inventory and Supplies: Monitor food inventory, order supplies, control waste, and maintain accurate records to support efficient department operations.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, food safety requirements, sanitation standards, and company policies.
• Promote Resident Satisfaction: Collaborate with culinary and care teams to accommodate residents' nutritional needs and enhance their overall dining experience.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep thorough records of menus, food inventory, dietary services, and other required departmental documentation.
