Certified First Aider

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid response to injured or ill employees on construction sites and company facilities
• Maintain and regularly inspect first aid kits and emergency medical supplies to ensure they are fully stocked and ready for use
• Document all first aid incidents, injuries and treatments provided, and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes
• Conduct regular first aid refresher training sessions and demonstrations to keep staff updated on emergency procedures
• Liaise with emergency services when necessary and provide relevant information regarding incidents
• Collaborate with the Health, Safety & Environment team to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in workplace safety protocols
• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and evacuation procedures
• Monitor construction sites for compliance with health and safety regulations and standards

What we're looking for

• Valid Certified First Aid certification recognized by the relevant health and safety authorities in the Philippines
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards applicable to the construction industry
• Strong understanding of workplace hazards specific to construction environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain safety procedures to diverse groups
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• High level of physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining records and supplies
• Proven commitment to promoting a safety-first culture in the workplace
• Experience working in construction or industrial environments is highly desirable
• Additional certifications in CPR or advanced first aid are advantageous
