Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage to address client concerns and promote healing
• Friday and Saturday morning shift
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health history and physiology knowledge
• Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and respecting client confidentiality at all times
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment approaches for complex cases
• Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques, industry best practices, and legal regulations to ensure high-quality service delivery

Experience

• Proven experience as a massage therapist with a focus on patient service and customer care in a med spa or clinical setting
• Demonstrated expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices
• Prior experience working within occupational health or medical spa environments is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and provide clear guidance on treatment options
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting
