Licensed Massage Therapist – Medical Setting

Care Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, professional Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position is ideal for a therapist interested in using massage therapy in a clinical environment to help patients manage pain, improve mobility, reduce muscular tension, and support their overall treatment and wellness goals.

We welcome both experienced massage therapists and recent graduates/newly licensed therapists who are interested in developing their skills in a medical setting.

Position Responsibilities

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will:

• Provide therapeutic massage services based on each patient's individual needs and treatment goals.
• Work with patients experiencing chronic pain, muscular tension, limited mobility, injuries, and other musculoskeletal concerns.
• Modify massage techniques based on patient presentation, medical history, comfort level, and contraindications.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding treatment goals, areas of concern, pressure preferences, and response to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy sessions in accordance with clinic procedures.
• Collaborate with providers and other members of the healthcare team to support coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients on appropriate self-care, stretching, body mechanics, and other strategies within the massage therapist's scope of practice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional, and therapeutic treatment environment.
• Follow all clinic policies regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, infection control, professional boundaries, and safety.
• Maintain current massage therapy licensure and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Massage Therapy License in the State of Georgia, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Completion of an accredited or state-approved Massage Therapy program.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, contraindications, and therapeutic massage techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work professionally with patients from a variety of backgrounds and with varying medical needs.
• Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working as part of a healthcare team.
• Commitment to maintaining appropriate professional and therapeutic boundaries.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in medical, clinical, rehabilitation, chiropractic, pain-management, or therapeutic massage is beneficial but not required.
