Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health.
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, and industry best practices to continuously enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and pain management strategies.
• Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques.
• Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and professionally.
• Knowledge of occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives.

Compensation: Commission based starting $30-$35/hour +tip

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
