Job Type: Full-time, temporary 6 months with possible extension.

Join Dr. Cat Begovic, an established and world-renowned Plastic Surgeon in private practice in Beverly Hills, California in a glamorous and state of the art Plastic Surgery Penthouse Office on Rodeo Drive. We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our busy high-end concierge practice which cares for patients in the geographic area, across the US, as well as from all over the world for a 6 months with possible extension.

This position is for a certified medical assistant to assist Dr. Cat with patients before, during, and after surgery and also with in-office procedures. The person will also help with patient follow-up calls, social media, organizing medical charts, and other patient care related tasks. We are looking for someone passionate about plastic surgery, someone who is pro-active and enthusiastic, extremely organized and detailed, and who can give the utmost best customer service. Please only apply if you have had at least two years of direct patient care experience as a MA, preferably in plastic surgery. What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a patient-focused individual to join our team who possesses the same values and standards as Dr. Cat and her brand. We have a rigorous hiring and training process, placing a high value on integrity, attention to detail, being a fast learner and adaptable, and a passion for helping patients with their aesthetic goals.

We have specific requirements:

• Available to start immediately and commute to Beverly Hills
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from an accredited training program.
• At least 2 years of experience as a MA with direct patient care; plastic surgery or aesthetics experience preferred.
• Up to date with Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).
• Ability to commit to the practice full-time M-F with some Saturdays for the duration of the position.
• A background check will be performed.

• Must be able to multitask, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform duties in a high-paced environment.

Compensation

Compensation: $25 per hour.

Application Question(s):

• Describe a post-operative patient who genuinely worried you: what you observed, what you did in the first five minutes, and who you escalated to.
• List the procedures you've personally assisted chairside in the past year, not observed, assisted, and roughly how many times each.
• Walk me through setting up a sterile field for an in-office procedure, and name one mistake you've seen someone else make that contaminated one. (
• A patient calls on day 3 after an abdominoplasty describing increasing one-sided swelling and pain. What do you ask, and what do you do?
