Certified Medical Assistant

Duties

• Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and precision
• Administer medications and injections following established protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, medication records.
• Support patient education by explaining treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance tips

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Proven experience in medical office settings
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient support
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) management tools
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to ensure patient safety during procedures
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in diverse clinical settings
• Bilingual (preferred)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
