Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Support physicians with clinical tasks and basic life support when necessary.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information thoroughly and accurately.
• Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
• Answer phone calls, authorize prescription refills, and provide patient education.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth clinic operations.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in diverse healthcare settings.
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and billing purposes.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding practices, and medication administration protocols.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks efficiently while maintaining compassionate patient interactions.
