We are a busy medical office looking for a full-time CERTIFIED medical assistant. Successful candidates must be FRIENDLY, energetic, detail-oriented and RELIABLE.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and room patients, assist patient with medical forms and document all information in patient's chart
• Frequent use of electronic charting software
• Assist healthcare provider before, during and after patient examinations
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by healthcare provider
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patients' medical records
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/healthcare provider/pharmacy calls. Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants
• Maintain all logs and follow office protocols to ensure patient data is accurate and secure
• Strict adherence to HIPAA policies
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and sterilization standards while adhering to safety protocols related to infection control
• All other duties as assigned by clinic managers or practice administrator

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a current Medical Assistant Certification in the State of Washington & be willing to provide occasional back-up support at our Hermiston, Oregon office. Medical office experience preferred; customer service skills required. Position requires availability 6:30am-6pm (Monday-Friday) and the ability to work with ALL types of people. Potential candidates will need to complete a trial period prior to a full-time position being offered (offer of employment will be contingent on a background check).
