Medical Assistant – Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine

Compensation: Based on experience
Schedule: Approximately 32–40 hours/week
Location: Long Island + 1 day per week in our NYC office

We are seeking an experienced, personable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine practice.

Our practice includes a private plastic surgery practice and a thriving MedSpa. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, patient-focused, and proactive, with a genuine interest in aesthetics and plastic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide an exceptional patient experience
• Take vital signs and present patient cases to the physician
• Assist physicians and aesthetic providers in treatment rooms
• Prepare patients for injectable and aesthetic treatments
• Assist with minor procedures and local anesthesia
• Take consistent before-and-after photographs
• Answer patient questions and provide post-treatment instructions
• Assist with phones, scheduling, and online inquiries
• Prepare, clean, and restock treatment rooms
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical charts
• Assist with instrument cleaning and sterilization
• Assist with OR cases as needed
• Maintain inventory of injectables and clinical supplies
• Follow practice policies and infection-control protocols
• Work one day per week in our NYC office

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience
• Plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or cosmetic medicine experience preferred
• CMA and BLS preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, polished, and personable
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer/EMR skills
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
• Dependable and flexible
• Strong team player
• Professional references required

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 32–40 hours/week

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
