Certified Medical Assistant

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Check in patients (History intake, check vitals)
• Assist with front office work including scheduling patients, entering demographics and insurance information into EMR.
• Assist with procedures.
• Assist with running labs for urine drug screens.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Familiarity with medical prior authorizations
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
