Family Medicine And Rehab Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL! Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EMR system
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by the provider
• Perform clinical duties including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection
• Manage patient flow by rooming patients and preparing exam rooms between visits
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and follow-up care coordination
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards

Requirements:

• Active CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required
• Previous experience in a family medicine, primary care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, Preferred: EClinical
• Minimum 2 years as a Certified Medical Assistant
• Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills including vital signs and EKG administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume clinical environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
