Certified Medical Assistant - Float Pool

Seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining and documenting patient information, vital signs, and visit details using electronic medical records.
• Preparing examination rooms, assisting patients, and supporting providers during procedures.
• Performing clinical tasks such as EKGs, wound dressings, phlebotomy, and specimen collection, within competency.
• Administering medications per policy, completing tests, and supporting laboratory functions.
• Managing clerical duties including scheduling, filing reports, verifying documentation, and facilitating referrals.
• Supporting patient education, ensuring safety, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining infection control protocols.
• Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications include:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with certification from recognized governing bodies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; specialty training preferred.
