Position Summary The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
• Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Required Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Virginia.
• BLS required; Handle with Care preferred.
