Certified Nurse Practitioner

Provides medical evaluations for alleged child abuse victims as part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Executive Director.

• Requires a Certified Nurse Practitioner license with preferred specialty training in child abuse.

• Must have at least one year of pediatric clinical experience; licensure to practice in Pennsylvania is required.

• Responsibilities include conducting exams, taking histories, documenting findings, obtaining lab tests and imaging, and preparing detailed reports.

• Collaborates with other professionals, communicates with external personnel, and participates in supervision, training, and quality assurance activities.

• Engages in ongoing education, research, and peer review to ensure high-quality care.
