Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Assistants, and Companion Sitters to join our dynamic home care team throughout metro Atlanta. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical staff, and assist patients with daily activities to promote comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance comfort and independence
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Support clinical teams by preparing patients for examinations or procedures and ensuring proper medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury during patient transfers
• Administer medications under supervision following strict aseptic techniques and established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings like ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine units, or long-term care facilities to deliver comprehensive patient service
• Maintain infection control standards through proper hand hygiene, equipment sterilization, and adherence to safety practices in line with Level I Trauma Center requirements

Experience

• Prior experience working as a CNA or in a medical-surgical environment is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification is essential
• Experience with EMR/EHR (Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Background working with geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to deliver empathetic care
• Exposure to acute care settings like ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level II trauma centers is beneficial
• Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and practice manual handling techniques in compliance with safe lifting practices
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and infection control procedures ensures high-quality patient safety standards

Requirements

• Must have an active CNA license in Georgia
• Must be able to obtain a successful PCA test
• Companion Sitters must have a demonstrated competency
• Must have a vehicle and a good driving record ; Provide a 3 yr MVR
• Background check in GCHEX and a current TB test within 1 year.
